Point Nepean Road, Sorrento

Plans in Motion were engaged to assist with the development of a complex residential project at 3229 Point Nepean Road, Sorrento. The project was a set within 2000m2 of land, and involved a design by Frank Macchia (www.frankmacchia.com). The breath-taking design referenced elements of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater House, and adopted geometric angles, varied setbacks and cantilevered elements to deliver an elegant and sculpted form.

Plans in Motion were engaged to advise and navigate the complex planning regulations relating to view sharing, height controls and vegetation protection. We are pleased to have successfully negotiated an appropriate outcome through VCAT and we now look forward to seeing the house completed in 2017.
