Watsonia Medical Centre

Plans in Motion were engaged as consultant town planners to obtain the Town Planning Permit for this mixed use development and associated liquor license.

Designed by Ikonomidis Design Studio the design cleverly integrates the proposal with the site’s corner location while also incorporating a mid-level car park.

The project is an excellent example of co-locating uses that work together harmoniously while also encouraging activity at a street level. Locating a restaurant with a medical centre use allows patients the space to connect with family and friends prior to the consultation and a place to debrief after meeting with their specialists. Equally, the restaurant encourages activity and vitality to the street and to the commercial centre.
